Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • Please note all visitors on premise at winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.

Policies and Rules

  • Neverending Story at Eagles Nest is pet friendly for a max of 2 mature, well-trained dogs under 50lb each. Pet fee is $25/nt per pet.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • No events allowed.
  • Children allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • Pet fee is $25/nt per pet (maximum 2 dogs, each under 50lbs).
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles for $25 plus tax.
  • Guests returning to Neverending Story may receive a discount of 5% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • Free parking available.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
  • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • Hair dryers are provided.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
  • Construction noises may be heard from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided.

Community and Amenity Access Notes

  • While enjoying your stay at Neverending Story at Eagles Nest, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest, including:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disk Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
    • Vineyard: Food and Wine served
  • The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
